Profile

Leading the security programme

I manage information security at TIS, a cloud-based payments and cash-forecasting platform. As Information Security Officer I led the end-to-end implementation and ongoing oversight of the ISMS, taking it to ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type II, and I handled the customer security questionnaires and due-diligence requests that come up in the sales cycle.

As Information Security Manager I drive the company's security initiatives through the corporate IT team: endpoint and device management, identity governance, single sign-on and automated user provisioning across the vendor ecosystem. I drive Microsoft security hardening and endpoint security across the organisation, including EDR and security baselines, and I led the product vulnerability-scanning programme with engineering, and I own vendor and supplier security reviews.

My background is engineering: an MSc in Applied Informatics from KU Leuven. Earlier at TIS I also ran IT operations for the Belgian offices, from Microsoft 365 and endpoints to VPN, code repositories and password management.
